The intention is to open up the interior of the house at ground floor level to make a greater sense of connection between the various areas, thereby creating a greater lived experience for the occupants. The spaces can be opened up or closed down according to the users requirements. A double height space has been created to the Hallway adding a sense of drama and scale to the experience of arriving and moving through the house towards the rear garden via a new full width glazed extension.
