bellis | architects is a design led architectural practice established in 2006 and has gained a reputation for sensitive high quality design in both urban and rural locations. We realise the potential of complicated sites in sensitive locations, especially in urban areas.

We have many years experience both in the refurbishment of listed buildings and the implementation of new build developments on redundant or brown field sites.

bellis | architects work collaboratively with clients, consultants and developers to recreate the qualities that make our towns and neighbourhoods enjoyable and enlivening places to visit and inhabit. We have an expanding client base covering residential, mixed-use, hotels, leisure and master planning schemes.

Based in London we work throughout the British Isles.

David bellis

BA (Hons), Dip Arch, RIBA

David Bellis, a British registered architect, has had a wide ad varied range of experience in architecture. Through this he has developed an understanding of the complexity of procuring buildings with a great deal of emphasis placed on technical knowledge and on-site experience.

David has vast experience in all aspects of practice management together with a wide ranging experience in commercial, housing and mixed use projects, specialising in complicated urban regeneration on brown field sites working closely with developers to deliver prestigious projects within tight constraints.

Rorie ASh

Rorie Ash is a British registered architect with experience across a range of projects including commercial, mixed-used and in particular residential schemes. Rorie enjoys being able to collaborate directly with clients, contractors, town planners and other consultants.

Since joining Bellis Architects in 2017 Rorie's role within the practice has developed significantly. Within the office Rorie works on projects from initial sketch design right through to the on site construction stages; aiming to achieve the best results within the constraints of each particular project.

Rorie enjoys the mixture of art and science that goes into architectural design and aims to understand projects holistically - from the business of development through to the technical details of construction.

alessandro primavera

ARB

Alessandro is an Italian architect and British registered architect (ARB), whohas worked on a wide range of projects globally. He has worked on several national and international architectural competitions and brings his experience on the regeneration of public spaces and design of mixed-use buildings to the practice.

Moving to London in 2018 he has been working on a mixture of residential and educational projects. Alessandro joined us in 2019 with a view to share and expand his knowledge. Moved by the passion for interior design, materials and detail he has developed his interest on both larger scale and domestic scale architecture. He enjoys creating spaces that encourage interactions and social connections under principles of functionality and efficiency.
