We are working closely with our client on this private apartment scheme. Originally a conversion and external refurbishment of former office building to create 48 private apartments. Bellis | Architects spotted the opportunity to extend vertically in two areas of the ā€˜Lā€™ shaped floor plate and we are now working towards delivering 79 high quality private residential dwellings with a mixture from one to three bedroom apartments. The additions comprised of a penthouse type structure part covering the roof over the six storey wing of the building together with three additional storeys over the lower three storey wing. The external facades have been fully refurbished and clad with a mixture of facing brickwork and render, and new high performance aluminium framed windows and patio doors installed. Private balconies and communal roof terrace afford all residents amenity space. The apartments are finished to a high quality offering modern spacious living.
